As Oklahoma Program Manager for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, I've directed statewide victim services for survivors and families of impaired-driving crashes. I've sat with widows the night a sentence was read. I've held space for parents at victim impact panels. I've coordinated with prosecutors and law enforcement, written court accompaniment plans, and been the steady presence in some of the hardest rooms a person can ever sit in.
Brown Advocacy Group is the natural extension of that work — brought to the side of civil litigation where families need the same kind of presence, and where plaintiff firms recognize that client stability is case value.
I built this practice because the families I serve through MADD often go on to a second crisis after the first one ends. The legal process is its own long road, and almost no one walks it with them. That's the gap I close.
— Emily K. Brown, Founder
Families in crisis don't need someone dramatic. They need someone who shows up. Consistently. Across months.
The legal system has its own clock. Trauma has another. The family's pace is the one I work to.
I tell families the truth about what's ahead. Real preparation is the most loving thing I can offer.
I am not an attorney. I do not give legal advice. The firm runs the case; I support the family. The line is bright and I never cross it.
In contingency work, the client is not separate from the case. Protect the family, and you protect the case.
A thirty-minute conversation is the right next step. I respond to every inquiry personally.
